The location is very good, but that also means a bit of noise. If you are a light sleeper, you can have problems to fall asleep because of passing trams in front of the building. But we slept well, they didn't wake us up.
The location of the hostel is great! Very close to the city centre, the underground station is really close too. Laslie who welcomed us was very nice, asked us where we would like to go and told us how to get there. Our room was big, clean, the private bathroom was good too. We didn't really use the kitchen but there was coffee and tea you could have anytime you wanted. We didn't have any problems with the Internet. Bed was comfortable.
Great, spacious apartment in a good location - close to the tram and métro and 15-20minute walk to the centre. Nice spacious rooms, good kitchen. Great heating and hot showers which were much needed for our winter holiday! The owner was also very helpful and took a lot of time to explain all the places to visit to us etc.
Very good location, just 15-20 minutes walk from the city center. Bakery, supermarket and groceries 3 minutes walk. Convenient, clean and spacious rooms with free&fast wi-fi. Kitchen with all necessary appliances. The host was great. On the first day he sat with us and showed us all worth seeing places in Budapest.
The only bad experience was because of our fault, maybe. We didn't let our host know our expected arrival time, so there was no one there to let us in. We had to call him and then he sent someone with the keys.
Everything. The kitchen is fully equipped, our room was enormous, the bathroom was really good too, and the common areas are very big, clean and comfortable. The host, Lászlo, was a really cool guy, always helpful and willing to respond to all of our requests. The price is good, so is the location. I'd book this again when I'll come back to Budapest, which I expect it will be soon.
This 'hostel' is great! It's location is right next to the Metro and tram lines, so convenient. Laslie welcomed us and spent time explaining what to do in Budapest and how to get to places. We shared a room (two of us) and had our own bathroom next door. The kitchen is well equipped and while care is needed opening windows (as it is a very old building), the room was huge and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying there again when next I visit Budapest.
We had a fantastic stay at Azurro Hostel. Laszlo was fantastic, full of advice and information, and a friendly smile. The hostel is beautiful and warm, in a great location next to the metro and tram lines, and there was a grocery store nearby as well and loads of restaurants and cafes. I would happily recommend this hostel to anyone wanting to enjoy Budapest!
We were due to overbooking in an aparment in the Duna Road, Near Cafe New York. The apartment was on the second floor, with patio windows. It was all newly painted and refurbished. A bit has still smelled of paint. Very quiet, good area. Had no provision for you to themselves, but if a full kitchen is available. All very straightforward. A good base for extensive inquiries in the city.
Small and new hostel with a cosy atmosphere. The dorm room is spacious and the living and dining areas are newly furnished. Laci who runs the place personally ensures that all our needs at attended to. He's a great host, I'd definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for an affordable and quality accommodation in Budapest!
